I have to be in school for the next few weeks. But at a sports school it's not as hard as it's sounds like. Rightnow we're about to do HIT (High intensive Training). Two weeks ago we went to a gym with trampolines and stuff. Check out the Edit.

Weekend at Hintertux

After a few weeks at school I went to Hintertux/Austria for three days. The weather was mostly good and the Park was in a good shape. There was one big Kicker and I finally refreshed my Switch Double which worked not bad. Kai Mahler and my brother Cyrill were throwing sick Dubs as well. Tomorrow I have to be back in school. Sorry for not posting so often at the time.

Last Weekend I went one more time to Livigno for the Nordica Team Camp. I had two awesome days there. I'm very happy to introduce you to Switzerland's new Nordica Team:

We had such a funny weekend together and it's great to have a team like that now. There was a small Teambattle between the national Teams. Laurent and I didn't compete cause we're in the Europe Team. But Team Switzerland 1 consisting of Cyrill and Yannic won it. Congraats. :)

Phu! I'm just travelling a lot like always if I have holidays. :) Last week I was in Laax where I had a few nice days. The Park is in a pretty good shape. For the weekend I went to Livigno with Andri Ambuhl and his girlfriend Angela. We had a lot of fun there and the park is still very good in Livigno. Now I'm just at home for washing my clothes and chilling a little. Tuesday I'm going back to Livigno and for the next weekend I'm going back to Laax. What a plan. :) I finally have a small edit for you.

Game of Snow

Guess who's back? Yees I am! :) Last Sunday I was in Saanenmöser for the Game of Snow. A comp where you have to do all the tricks they announced. My brother and I didn't do any trick wrong and won the Game of Snow after I already won it last year. I'm happy that the break from skiing has finished and that everything went so good. Now I just arrived in Laax where I'm gonna stay for a few days. Good Night.

Salomon Jibacademy National Final

Last weekend the National Finals of the Salomon Jibacademy took place in Adelboden. I was really wondering who is gonna win the trip to Mammoth CA after I won last year. And Switzerland's fourth winner after Elias Ambühl, Till Matti and me is Alessandro Jossen. I'm stocked about this result. Alessandro is gonna kill it in Mammoth.

Sorry for not posting very often. There isn't a lot to tell you while I'm injured. My hand is doing very well, I went to the doctor yesterday and there are only one or two weeks left until I'll be back on skis. While those weeks off, I'm in school very often and last week I was in Arosa for the third Andri Ambühl Invitational. Not as a rider but as a judge. Being a Judge is harder than I expected but I think we did a pretty good job. The whole event was great especially the parties. :) Thanks to Andri and his whole Team for organizing such a good Event.

Salomon Jibacademy Crans Montana

Last Sunday I went to Crans Montana for the second Salomon Jibacademy Stop in Switzerland. The Park was in a good shape and the level was really High. I was there as a Coach but I skied also a little for myself to see what's possible with my broken hand and luckily it worked pretty good. I just can't do hard Tricks on big Jumps yet. Lucien Blum out of Saanen got first and qualified for Switzerland's finals in Adelboden. He did Sw right 7 to Sw left 9 on the Kicker and some good Tricks on the Rails. Congrats!

As you maybe already know they decided to cancel the European Open Slopestyle Finals. Instead they did a Rail Comp on the Stair Set down at the bottom Station in Laax. The level was so sick. I though I have to try something crazy. It didn't work at all. ;) I broke my hand but it's not really bad. I had to operate it today. Everything went well and I'm gonna be baack in a few weeks!

Yesterday the Slopestyle qualifications went down at the European Open in Laax. I was in Heat 2 which was a very good Heat. My first run was pretty alright but in my second run I did the rails way better and I could improve my score. I finally got fifth and qualified for the semis.

Yesterday the first Stop from the Salomon Jibacademy in Switzerland went down in Laax. I was a Coach and it was super to see how many young guns we have in Switzerland. Fredy Illiano won the first Spot and qualified for the superfinals. Congrats!

Whitestyle Open Mürren

Last week I went to Kaprun for the Austrian Freeski Open. I got second at the Roockies Category. After that I went home for the Whitestyle Open in Mürren. It was once again such a good event in Mürren and I had so much fun. I finally got second behind Aschee Burri. Janne van Enckevort got third.

Baanger Weekend!

The last weekend was amazing. On Saturday I went to the High Fly. I was in the Quiksilver Roccafellaz Team with Aschee Burri, Oli Michel, Christian Bieri and Roman Laubacher. It was so fun like it always is at High Fly and there were about 4500 people watching us. Yeah and we finally got first place!

On Sunday I went to the RedBull 401 which is such a sick competition. The Format is so sick and you can just ski all day long and have fun. Everyone started with 401 Points and the goal was to reach zero Points in less runs than the other skiers and you had to do lots of differents Tricks that all gave different Points. Exactly like Dart.

I reached zero points after five runs and got second behind X-Games Bronzemedalist Elias Ambuhl.

Meiringen-Hasliberg is baack!!!

The last few days I've had holidays and luckily there wasn't any competition or anything else, so that I just could be at home for these days. But I sure didn't do nothing. I went back to my home resort Meiringen-Hasliberg where the finally built a park again after it wasn't built last year. The Park is great and you can do so many runs and jumps every day. Last weekend the Mayrhofen Freeski Open powered by Nordica went down in Mayrhofen. I got second place in my heat in qualifications and finally ranked seventh in the finals. Althogh the weather wasn't so good, it was another super fun event and I really enjoyed it.

I'm back home after a very successful weekend in Poland at the Polish Freeskiing Open. I got second place in Big Air and third place in Rails category. It was super fun to ski with Roy, PC, Jussi and the guys and I really enjoyed Poland.

Livigno and Poland

From Monday till Wednesday this week I've been to Livignio, where they have such a sick Park. The XL Line has 4 Kikers, which have 20-30 meter long Tables and which are so smooth. I also learnt a new trick. I won't tell you what trick yet but I think you'll see it in a Video pretty soon and I think you're gonna like it. ;)

On Thursday I travelled to Poland for the PolishFreeskiingOpen. Today the qualification went down and I ended up on second Place. I'm very happy and I hope for the best tomorrow.

Silvretta Nova on wednesday wasn't really a success. They didn't open the Bagjump although they announced it. And everybody there has been pretty unfriendly. Anyway on thursday we went to Braunwald for shreding some boxes and a small Kicker. It was pretty fun. Thursday evening Dave, Sämi, Till and I went to Zürich and ordered the Salomon Clothes for the next season. I also already got a next year's suit which is super sick!

On Friday I got a little sick and I went home again. Today I got go Livigno till wednesday. I heard the Park there should be awesome. On wednesday I go further to Poland, where I'm gonna compete at Polish Freeskiingopen.

Back in Laax

I spent almost the whole last weekend in bed, because I just had to learn and take a break of skiing after this intensively week of skiing in Arosa and Davos. Now I'm back on Skis in Laax. The Park is pretty good although the kickers are quite flat. Tomorrow I'm going to Silvretta Nova where they have a Bagjump. Maybe I'll work on some Dubs.

Day two from our shooting in Arosa was such a sick day. At 11.00 in the morning the clouds went away and I had a nice Kickersession with Andri Ambuhl, Nils Lauper, Cyrill Hunziker, Thomas Kobel and Silvan Jaeger including blue sky and sunshine.

Now I'm in Davos since two Days, where they built a nice Park, which is super fun.

Arosa Shooting Day 1

Today was the first day of the shooting with BMP Pictures in Arosa. Andri Ambühl, Nils Lauper and I jumped this super nice jump which Andri built in the last weeks. Christmas and last few days

As I already told you, I didn't get my luggage after I flew home from Finland. I finally got my suit-case a few days ago but I still don't have my Skibag so I went to Nordica today to get a new pair of skis. But even if I couldn't ski for one week I didn't get bored. I celebrated Christmas with my family. It was pretty nice. Then I visited some friends and finally I built a In-Run Ramp together with my dad. And if it's gonna snow again, I'm ready to shoot Handrails with White-Passion. I hope to get my Skibag soon. Otherwise it would suck!

Review Ruka Week

I'm now back home since two days. My luggage unfortunatly didn't make it home yet. The last days in Ruka went pretty good. At the Fabulous Ruka competition I couldn't throw down my run as good as I wanted. So I ended the competition on Place 20. The level was pretty high and there were about six riders throwing Doubs. Sig Tveit got first followed by Antti Oillia and Patrick Hollaus. Check the whole results on http://www.fabulousruka.com/news.php.

At the North Face Ski Challenge it worked a little better. I got second and I'm now qualified for the Finals in Val Thorens.

All in all the Trip northward to Finlnad was awesome. I've meet a lot of nice people and it was just great to discover all the nice things those the country offers. I would like to thank all people who made this trip possible. Especially Andreas Lanz and Noora Vihervaara.

Fabulous Ruka BigAir

Today the whole Park finally opened and in the evening there was a kind of a BigAir competition. There are no results published yet but the main part of Fabulous Ruka is tomorrow anyway. Tomorrow is Slopestyle and I'm really locking forward to it. By the way yesterday evening we went to the house where the REAL Santa lives. It was super fun.

It's still super fun up here. Yesterday was the coldest day in this week. It was -28 degrees cold. But now it should get a little warmer again and the whole park should be finished today as well. So let's go skiing!

I just came back from the first session of skiing. It's -20 degrees cold so I have to warm me up. The accomondation and the park are great although there is not everything finished yet. I can't write much now, I need to go back on the Slope. Finland is a beautyful country, here are some Impressions.

HI. Yesterday I went to Meiringen/Hasliberg. It snowed a little the day before and I had a funny Powderday with Edelstone's Reto Lucek. Sometimes it's good to have days without training, competing and filming, you know days you just can ski. After such a day I'm always more motivated to do the things I usualy do. For Example the Finlandtrip which is starting tomorrow. At 11 a.m. my plane's gonna leave Zürich. I'm really stocked on going to Finland and I'm Looking forward to have a great week up there.

Next monday I'm gonna fly to Finland with my Brother and my Dad. I'll practise there for a week and on the weekend I'm gonna compete at the Fabulous Ruka. Thanks to my Bro Andreas Lanz who makes this Trip possible. There is a lot to do till next monday, for example I have to write some exam but on Friday I've actually already holidays. YESSIR! :)

Camp in Laax

I spent the last three days in Laax. We had another Camp with the Sports School. I focused on the Halfpipe which was very good. It worked pretty good and I feel now pretty sure. Maybe I should more focus on the Pipe. But still on Slopestyle as well. Fifty-Fifty might be a good solution.

Another Week in School (but finally Snow)

I'm passing another week in Engelberg at the Sports School. But this week is a little more special than the weeks past. It finally snowed. Quite much.

Yesterday we went to Les Diablerets one more time. There was much snow as well. It was a really good day and I could improve my Rightsidespinns.

Pray4Snow 09

Yo! The Pray4Snow in Thun went down last weekend. First I actually planned to compete at the JibDaHouse Railbattle in Austria together with Andri Ambühl. But he had to work so I went to Thun. Pray4Snow was fun. I got 2nd at the Roockies Competition and qualified myself for the Superfinals. There was a Head-to-Head System. I unfortunately lost against Fabi Kronig. Anyway it was a good Event.

Glacier3000 Invitational Day 2 and Day 3

After a day with bluesky and sunshine on wednesday we had the opposite of it on thursday. Because of the fog and the wind, they decided to do the finals on friday. But anyway we had a funny thursday afternoon. We played bowling and Ahmet Dadali and Matt Margetts worked on their Wrestlingskillz.

The weather on Friday was good again so the Finals could get down. It worked pretty well and I finally got 16th. Elvis Eidsvold Harsheim from Norway was the lucky winner followed by Phil Casabon and Kim Boberg.

Glacier3000 Invitational Day 1

Hi Everybody. Today was the first day of the Glacier3000 Invitational in Les Diablerets. I and some other Swiss Guys had a Prequalification today to get into the Main-Competition which is tomorrow. It worked pretty good and I finally got first. Here the Guys who are qualified:

YO! Yesterday I've been once again in Les Diablerets. The weather was better than I expected. The Rail Setup was sick. I filmed a little with my brother Cyrill and he made a nice Edit.

Chea! After a hard week of school, I was back on the skis today. I went to Les Diablerets which has been open since last week. The park was pretty good. There were some sick rails and boxes and a nice kikerline with five kikers. Although they weren't very big I could prepare myself really good for the Glacier3000 Invitational where I have the possibility to compete at a prequalification. I really hope to get into the main-competition. I'll do my best!

Some weeks ago I've been to Zermatt for some Summerskiing. It was mad fun but unfortunately the Kicker didn't work. So I rode the Pipe and the Rails all week long. My brother made a short Edit which is pretty funny as well.

Freestyle.ch went down last weekend and it was a great event. It was nice to meet a lot of people I didn't see for a long time. One of the highlights was the presentation of the new Nordica Parkboot called ACES OF SPADES. The boot looks very nice and there are a lot of great features. I'm looking forward to ski with this boot.

Hey guys I'm just back home again after I've been at school in Engelberg for two week. Last week we made a Trampoline Edit.

The possibilities to get myself ready for the next season are amazing. There is big Gym, a Miniramp, a Trampoline and much more. Once a week we visit the Skatepark in Sarnen which is pretty good.

The next three days I'm going to Zürich for freestyle.ch. It's going to be amazing. You'll necessarily have to visit Nordica at the Label World becaus they will show their new Freeskiboot for the first time. I'm looking forward to see this boot which is surely great.

The last two weeks

Last week I started at the sports and studies school in Engelberg where I have the possibility to do sports while I make the "Matura". It's pretty exhausting cause you train every day but it's worth it definitely. So i'm looking forward to the following years in Engelberg.My new room in Engelberg

This week I was in Zermatt for another week of summerskiing. The Kikers weren't that good, so I especially worked on my Halfpipe and Railtricks. Maybe there will be a short edit from the week in Zermatt!

I finally left Saas-Fee

After I stayed in Saas-Fee for one month I finally left. It was a great time. I definitely had a lot of fun. I tried out some new tricks on skis and it mostly works. Some Tricks aren't yet ready to be practiced in competitions. But luckily I'll already be back on skis in one and a half week. The weather in Saas-Fee was crazy too. The sun shined almost always and it was very hot. Throughout the whole month in which I was there, there were only about 3-4 bad weather days. I'm talking about the Global Warming.

We went twice to the Driving Range. It was mad fun.

After two weeks of skiing I'm now at home for the weekend. I need to chill a little and wash my clothes so that I'm ready for the next two weeks. Next sunday I'll already be back in Saas-Fee.
Week two in Saas-Fee was awesome too. Everybody still did crazy tricks and the conditions have still been very good. Hope to have also good conditions next week so that I can learn some more new tricks.

Visit in the White-Passion Studio

Last sunday my brother and I, we visited Raphael Schläppi in Guttannen. He is the filmer from White-Passion which we film with. We watched the stuff we filmed last Season and all I can say about it is that it looks awesome. I think the film is going to be great and I hope the trailer will come soon that you can convince yourself.

I'm a Freeskier and I'm going to try to tell you as much as possible where I am and what I'm doing there. Right now I'm in Saas-Fee for one month. I share a penthouse with my brother Cyrill, Dave and Sämi Ortlieb, Till Matti, Luki Kessler, Nils Lauper, Kai Mahler and Marco Delponte. The first week is almost past now and we already did some crazy stuff. Tomorrow I'm going to post some pictures I think.
